The NHS in England is currently setting its priorities for the next 10 years and the UK Government announced additional funding for this during the NHS 70 celebrations.
In early December we are expecting Matt Hancock MP, the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care and Simon Stevens, Chief Executive of NHS England to set out the priorities for the NHS and how the funding will be allocated.
We are calling for the UK Government to put back a minimum of £1 billion per year – the amount stripped out through previous decisions- to nursing higher education.
Email your MP and ask for their support to fund our future nurses. Complete the template email asking them to write to Matt Hancock MP and Simon Stevens to prioritise funding for nursing higher education in England.
It's really important that your MP hears your story. Make sure you personalise the template email so they understand why this is so important.
